From Sketch to Screen:

A Passion for Animating

My love for animating is overwhelming. I studied animation in art school for a few years, and it was so rough I ended up dropping out and never wanting to animate anything ever again. But once I got past those dramatics, I decided to continue my studies on my own and animation in my life really fell into place. When I am animating, I am producing the absolute most rewarding creations I am able to make. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing my art come to life.

Telescope

My Telescope animation was such a personal passion project for me. There are so many subtle details of things that are important in my own life. Every second of this video has so much happening, but in the best way. There is always something new to notice if you rewatch! The song is by a favorite band of mine, Cage the Elephant. Hearing their song Telescope really inspired me to create something so special and original to go along with it.

So here it is. I have added a few clips that let you preview the main video, but really, click the button to watch the full video with the music that really makes it so entertaining.

Self Care

This short animation is simply pure fun. The idea came to me when I saw an image of a venus flytrap with a cigarette in its mouth. Why does that image exist? No idea. But these little guys have great personality… and a bit of an addiction problem.

It is more fun with sound, so if you want to watch the finalized version click the button below :)
